Electric Light Parade

I was hired as an intern by Layton City to coordinate and manage their second ever Electric Light Parade.

I was tasked with acquiring food trucks, purchasing supplies and decorations, recruiting performers and parade entries, handling the marketing, and coordination with other departments.

It was only the second time that the city would have the parade, and they hadn't developed any graphics for advertisements and social media outlets. The customer requested that I create banners and logos, as well as flyers. The first image is the  social media banner that was used, followed by the facebook profile picture and logo for the event.
The following images were alternatives that I created for the customer.
The first year of the event had around 300-400 people in attendance. This years event, however, with the updated material and additional marketing, there was close to 2000 people in attendance for the parade and after party. Below are some of the pictures taken by others at the event.
